Officer Elections for 2009 will be held in
December
Anyone wishing to run for an office for the
Atlanta Star Touring riding season please contact Doug Turco by
the end of November.
All offices are open: President & VP (must run as
a team), Sergeant at Arms, Shepherd, Vets Rep, LOS Rep,
Treasurer, Road Captain,
You must be a member of STAR in good standing and
you must meet the 40% ride rule to run for office. |
A special
thanks to everyone who participated in raising money for Feed
the Children. Star Touring & Riding (nationally) raised $170,000
last year to help needy children across the United States.
This is up $30,000 from the previous year STAR is in the Top 5
list of FTC for cash donations.
The chapter has now donated
enough money to have a truck brought to the Atlanta area. We are
looking to do this in early 2008. Watch for more information. We
will make details available as they become know to us.

Star Diner - Norcross
It was a very cold morning, so cold that only two riders
showed up on bikes. A quick ride to Star Diner was rewarded with
warmth, food and fellowship.
