Trail of Tears Remembrance Ride
This ride leaves out of Chattanooga, TN on Saturday morning and
rides to Florence, AL.
It is estimated that 100,000 motorcycles attend and it’s FREE.
It is a one day ride that some of us have done the past several years.
We usually ride to Chattanooga on Friday evening after work.
Once everyone arrives at the hotel we have dinner at a nearby
restaurant.
Saturday is an early day We need to be in line no later than 7:00am.
The ride pulls out at 8:00 AM sharp.
We ride all day with a mandatory break at the half way point.
If you have ever ridden in an all day parade this is it. Folks
line up all along the route. They picnic and wave as the riders
go by.
It is police escorted through the towns. The ride moves at highways
speeds between towns. Leaving Chattanooga and in the towns it is
stop and go.
