September 19 - 21
The attached information is about the Trail of Tears Remembrance
Ride.
This ride leaves out of Chattanooga, TN on Saturday morning and
rides to Florence, AL.
It is estimated that 150,000 motorcycles attend and it’s FREE.
There is a new route for this year. (see the attached
information)
It is a one day ride that some of us have done the past couple
of years.
We usually ride to Chattanooga on Friday evening after work.
Once everyone arrives at the hotel we ride downtown and eat
dinner at Taco Mac.
Saturday is an early day with us getting to the line up spot
around 7:00am in time to depart at 8:00 AM.
We ride all day with a break at the half way point.
If you have ever rode in an all day parade this is it. Folks
line up all along the route they picnic and wave as the riders
go by.
It is a totally police escorted ride that moves at a fair pace.
