After a week of unseasonably warm weather, the temps dropped on Friday and by Saturday morning it was in the low 30's. John Saari braved the cold on his bike, but the rest of us opted for four wheels and a heater.

Turnout was pretty good considering this was only a couple days after Thanksgiving. Guess everyone wanted to get away from the house and the leftover turkey.

Since we were all in cars, there isn't too much to say about the DRIVE over. Doug led as he almost always does. Maria and I were in the second position, but watching the mirrors I still managed to take care of my tail gunner duties, texting Doug from my phone when we all "made the turn".

Preston and Stephanie met us out the restaurant.

We ate, we talked, we had a good time. I believe everyone was glad to see their extended family during this Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving is about giving thanks, it is about family and it is about food. We had all three present on this Saturday and I for one was very thankful for my STAR family.
