December 27, 2009 Several
of us decided we wanted a change in diet from our Christmas leftovers
and showed up at El Porton for some Mexican fare. Rick Curtis braved the
cold weather and actually rode his bike. But, bike or car we still had a
great time. It was good to see our extended family in this holiday
season. We ate, we talked. We shared Christmas stories and found out
what chrome we got for our bikes, or in the case of the ladies, what
sparkly things they received as gifts. We tend to make our bikes and our
women sparkle I guess.
With the food eaten and the stories told, we
reluctantly left the restaurant and headed home.
A new year is just around the corner. It will be a
good one. Hopefully all our members will start it off right with our
traditional lunch at Bugaboo Creek. This year it is going to be cold on
New Years Day, so I expect most people to be in the car....which is fine
as long as everyone shows up.
