Despite really great riding weather, this week's ride became the non-ride. With only five members showing up and only three on bikes (Gary & Maria had bike problems and arrived in the car) it was decided to forego the ride to Highlands and instead run over to Golden Coral for some breakfast.

There was plenty to eat and we took advantage and ate well. We took our time and got our fill of eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, biscuits, sweet rolls, grits, fruit and before we left some deserts from the lunch spread. It was very enjoyable just relaxing and enjoying the food and company.

It would have been a great day for a ride. Too bad it was such a small turnout. A couple members were out of town and I guess everyone else had other things to do....as we all do from time to time.

Next weekend is the Trail of Tears ride. We should have a decent amount of participation in that ride. Look forward to seeing everyone going. It is always a good time.
