Twas two weeks before Christmas, and in the Kohl house home
The Star Riders were gathered,  about the house they did roam
The food that was brought was placed on the table with care
For all the friends and family to eat who had gathered there
Everyone huddleded around the table and in the room close by
As a prayer of thanks was given for the food and the pie
And Maria in her festive shirt and I in mine too
Got in the line just like we told everyone else to do
And as we sat to eat the talk became clatter
Everyone was eating and talking, noise didn't matter
Back to the food people went in a flash
One serving's not adequate as our little bash
The conversation was lively and joyful that night
Everyone was happy and life was just right
Then after eating enough food to last for many days
The people headed to the dessert fixed in so many ways
We sat and we talked and then talked some more
People were everywhere, even sitting on the floor
And then without notice a drawing took place
A door prize was given to change up the pace
Cindy Metz won a chocolate penguin to eat
And shared it with the children gathered at her feet
As the night drew on the people started to depart
Hugs and well wishes were exchanged; all from the heart
As each pulled the car keys from their own pocket
They walked to the door (we didn't lock it)
And each one exclaimed as they walked off into the night
"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT"

The party was a blast. We had a whole lot of great food and deserts. We had the best company you could have. We talked we ate, we drank. We had a wonderful time together as any family would. We shared stories and laughs. We just had a good time.

If you were not able to be with us, we missed you and look forward to seeing you on the 27th or on New Years day. We always start the year with a ride and food (what else would we do other than ride and eat). Even if the weather is bad or too cold New Years day, come in the car. We love to start the new year together as the Star Family. We always have a good time.

I sincerely hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas. Give thanks for your blessing this holiday season. We are all very fortunate to be able to do what we do and to have the friends we have to share it with.
