We started out the day with a nice warm breakfast at Southern Skillet in Roswell. "Warm" was important, because it was cold and windy outside, not to mention the sometimes heavy snow flurries. Not too much snow stuck to the ground, but it was enough to keep all the wiser riders confined to their cars and trucks. There were four very brave, dedicated (and questionably insane) riders who showed up on their bikes. They said it wasn't too cold riding. I certainly respect their dedication.

After breakfast we headed over the Great American Motorcycle show at the North Atlanta Trade Center, which is off of I-85 and Indian Trail in Norcross. Since we were in cars, trucks, and on bikes, it was hard to stay together on the ride over, but we all managed to meet up inside the venue. The show was bigger than ever. There was plenty to see. Lots of leather, tons of bikes and everything to go with them from parts to thirty foot campers to hold them. We stayed in small groups, everyone was able to do their own thing as needed. Later we gathered everyone back up and went over the the Don Gray (formerly Bobstar Customs) display and taped a short "stay tuned" clip for the upcoming Metric Revolution tv show that will be carried by FOX this fall. So if you weren't there, watch the show when it comes out and maybe you will see us.

After that, we pretty much each went our own way. Some headed home, other hung around for a while and spent some money. Eventually however, the day was done and we all ended up safely at home.
