The annual Christmas party was hosted again this year at the home of Gary & Maria Kohl. As it was last year, we again made it a "pot luck" event. Everyone brought a dish or two. There was a lot of excellent food. We had ham and turkey and everything you can think of to go along with it. There was an abundance of food. If we don't do anything else well, we eat well!

As everyone arrived we enjoyed some snacks, some drink and a lot of conversation. Once we felt that everyone had arrived we dove in to the food. I think everyone got their fill...although it took several of us more than one plate to do so. Then, once we were overly stuffed with the savory meal, we turned to a wide array of delicious desserts, coffee, and cold drinks.

In the course of conversation after dinner, while everyone was too full to move,  a very informal and very short meeting was held. We discussed the fact that the officers are unchanged for 2007. We also talked a little some ride ideas for 2007.

The party lasted a little while past that. Everyone slowly leaving one by one to head back to their homes. I think everyone enjoyed themselves, and everyone went away knowing that this was a great group to ride with.

If you were unable to make it, we missed you. A lot of company parties were occurring on that same night, which made it impossible for some of you to attend. Hopefully next year it will work out for you to attend.
