The weather didn't really want to cooperate with us today, so six of us met in Gainesville and piled into Doug's truck and headed on to the railroad anyway. It was a nice drive up and we enjoyed some good conversation. Rick and Barbara Campbell met us at the station. We all boarded the train in the rain. It was a fantastic ride. We got off and had lunch at our destination then returned to the train and enjoyed the ride home. Even with the constant rain, it was very enjoyable. I guess good friends beats out bad weather any day.
