First, I want to let everyone know that I have ask Gary Kohl
to be the next Vice-President for our chapter. Gary has
been the driving force in getting the new website up and running
and it looks great. I think he will be a valuable asset to the
chapter. --- Thanks Gary.
Second,
Gary has worked to get all the e-mail contacts up and running on
the website.
If you need to contact a chapter officer, you can access all of
us through the "Officers" link on the front page of the website.
We have a new Road Captain this year. Mitch Argo.
I have ask Mitch to collect ride suggestions from all of you so
we can get our schedule firmed up and posted on the website.
I want everyone to send Mitch one or two rides you
would like to go on. If everyone will do this we shouldn't have
any problem filling the schedule. Remember, we do Sunday day
rides and Saturday dinner rides. We would like to do a picnic
and maybe a weekend trip or two. Just keep your suggestions
reasonable. We won't count Daytona or Myrtle Beach as a ride but
there may be groups that want to make these trips.
Once compiled we will establish a ride committee to put the
suggestions in some sort of order and get them posted.
You can e-mail Mitch at
mitchargo@atlantastartouring.org
I want to take this opportunity to personally thank all the
officers that have volunteered to help with the chapter this
year. We have a great bunch of riders and I think we have a
great year of riding ahead of us.
Star Days Registrations have started. Have you made your
reservations yet? I heard that three hotels were already sold
out. This should be a great trip to Longmont, Colorado in July.

February 12th Ride Information
Well, I have intentionally procrastinated in sending out this
e-mail.
I have been hoping for a change in the weather forecast but it
hasn't happened yet.
The weather for Sunday is a low of 27 Saturday night and a high
of 42 on Sunday.
We will meet for breakfast at the Southern Skillet on Sunday,
February 12th at 9:30.
After breakfast we will travel over to the Great American
Motorcycle show for a look around.
The Southern Skillet is off GA Hwy 9 about one mile south of
Holcomb Bridge Road on the left.
If you need better directions let me know.
If it's too cold to ride the motorcycle, drive the car.
That's what I was told I would be doing.....LOL
See you all on Sunday....Any body got an extra set of hand
warmers......
