A NEW MONTHLY FEATURE, HIGHLIGHTING THE MEMBERS AND ACTIVITIES OF ATLANTA STAR TOURING & RIDING, CHAPTER 111!

BOYS and GIRLS…DO I HAVE SOME NEWS…for some it might be GOOD and for some it will be bitter sweet…but this is my second and for now…last “In the Wind…” report. 

I am stepping down as President of Chapter 111 and stepping out of Georgia.  I have been offered a lucrative position in Florida and have accepted and will be departing for warmer climates and Hurricanes at the end of the month. 

We have a great core of chapter members and each and every one of you is special to me and will be missed more than I can tell you here on this page.  We have some great plans for the upcoming riding year and I urge you all to keep up the enthusiasm and make this a banner year for the Original Georgia Chapter! 

I am leaving behind some very precious cargo and would ask that each of you check in on my family from time to time.  Mike and his girl friend Jennifer are expecting in the summer and will be buying a house in Marietta soon.  TJ will be taking over the rest of my house in Roswell (he already has the garage) and don’t be surprised to see the “Flag” roll up at an event or two! 

Carmi will need your support.  She will be remaining here at least until her youngest graduates this May and we can figure out the logistics and emotions of her moving to Florida.  And yes we will finally be getting married…time…date…and location …to be determined…but if you plan to attend…bring your own sunscreen!  

It is a very significant moment in my life and I am wrestling with all kinds of emotions…very excited and very sad and everything in-between.  But we all know the saying…that you sometimes “you gotta do what you gotta do” 

I will miss you all and think of you every time I start my bike and go for a ride …knowing that it will be sunny and 70+ and you guys will be cloudy and in the 40’s!

 RIDE SAFE…RIDE OFTEN…RIDE WITH CHAPTER 111!
